Landscapes of the Inner Soul

Imagine physics, geometry, meditation, and nature embraced by elaborate baroque ornamentation with bright colors and symmetrical decoration. Therese’s artistic inspiration comes from Tibetan Buddhist thanka paintings, nature, geometry, meditation, and many other places and people.

Therese’s art tells stories about life, change, nature, and spiritual practices. Her art explores the arc of personal experiences that make people who and what they are now. That arc is the personal evolution everyone experiences in one form or another. That arc is your inner landscape.

The art is layered wax-based colored pencil and ink on rough cotton water color paper creating a smooth texture with brilliant colors. Fine line work is ink. White and color are colored pencil unless otherwise indicated. A finished piece can be drawn and redrawn as many as five times before completion.
