| I invite you to join me for a free 25 minute online art marketing workshop to discover how to organize and optimize your artist's portfolio. Building a powerful presentation portfolio is critical to helping you present your work effectively to art galleries and build your art career.
During the mini art workshop I will answer questions including: What is the best format for your portfolio (digital vs. physical)? How much work should you include in your portfolio? How can you create a cohesive portfolio? What information should you include with the portfolio?
I have owned Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona for over eight years. During that time I have reviewed many thousands of portfolios from artists looking for representation. Some portfolios do a great job of presenting an artist's work and really help me get to know the artist's work. Others, unfortunately, leave much to be desired. Some artists try to include too much, others suffer from artistic schizophrenia, trying to show too many styles of work in one portfolio.
If you have wondered whether your portfolio is presenting you in a professional, effective manner, please join me for this workshop on Tuesday evening and let me give you my perspective on the ideal portfolio.
For more questions about the workshop please email jason@xanadugallery.com.
After registering for the live session you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Please share this page with any friends who you feel might benefit from this free workshop.

Free Online Mini Art Marketing Workshop | Write a Compelling Artist's Statement |
| |
|
| |
Although you work in a visual medium, your ability to communicate clearly and concisely with galleries and collectors is critical. A well-written artist's statement can reinforce the power of your work and help you make a strong, emotional connection with gallery owners and collectors.
In this free 25 minute session I welcome New York arts writer Adam Eisenstat. During this mini-workshop you will learn the elements of a powerful statement, while learning to avoid mistakes that can make your statement fall flat or go over the top.
Adam is a versatile wordsmith with extensive experience in art writing. He was the director of communications at a major New York art school and for more than 15 years he has helped artists of all genres and professional levels promote themselves effectively.
Adam will present clear, concrete advice on how to write an effective artist's statement.
