Artistic Consistency Evaluation

Before performing a consistency evaluation, read our blog post, Artists: Are you Consistent? A Gallery Owner's Perspective.

Self-Check

Look at your 10 most recent works and ask:

  1. Would an objective viewer be able to identify all of your work as yours if it were stripped of identifying information?
  2. Is there a common thread that runs through your work and ties it together?
  3. Is your style and subject matter selection focused?
  4. Is your work thematically consistent?
  5. Are you presenting the work in a consistent way? Are your frames, sculpture bases or other presentation tools consistent?

Need an objective evaluation of your consistency?

Are you unsure if your work is consistent enough to market effectively to buyers or show in galleries? Xanadu Gallery owner, Jason Horejs, offers a 5 point consistency check. Horejs will have you send in up to 10 images of recent work for a rigorous consistency evaluation. Horejs will provide you with a written analysis of his findings, along with suggestions of how you can create a more cohesive body of work.

Once you have registered for the consistency review, please allow up to 72 hours for us to send you instructions on how to submit your work for review. After submitting your photos please allow up to 10 days for Jason to review the images and prepare your report.
