It was a rare old homestead that could boast a bay window. This home, circa 1890, was built with foot-thick walls of stone and a window that gave fine views to the north. In its day, this home was the finest in the region. Abandoned now and left to the elements, it still gives a fine view ... but no one visits any more.

This old house is barely visible from the road, and many people have passed it and wondered about its story. Read how I was able to explore The Stone House here.
