"I would like to paint the way a bird sings!" Claude Monet The desert comes alive as spring arrives and the winter rains subside. I find myself outside more and more, hiking in search of paintings, exploring each round of new blooms. The orchestra of birdsong entrances me. There are so many, each with their own beautiful voice and looking for their perfect mate. The red cardinal is a gift to catch here in the desert, one not many expect to see. Are you paying attention to the world around you, all the beauty she offers up? Each of these little gifts are so fleeting and only for a season. Make sure to stop and smell the...well poppies!
