Lone Eagle Peak has forever been imprinted in my mind as one of the most awe inspiring peaks in Colorado. The pointed summit is commanding and intimidating and surrounded by pristine, rugged beauty. With a 9-mile trek into the Indian Peaks Wilderness, solitude, peace and quiet awaits the few who make the effort to reach this stunning location. Upon hiking out to the peak one may encountered a mother moose and her young, deer, fox, sweet smelling wildflowers, beautiful swift flowing waterfalls, rushing streams, towering pines and beckoning rock faces. This image was captured on a chilly afternoon in Early November. Aluminum stack mounting is an alternative to traditional framing that gives images maximum color, minimum glare, and a clean contemporary look. The print is mounted on a 3/8 inch high density wood and finished with a matte finish vinyl laminate that is heat pressed to the print and finished with a black beveled edge. This is then stacked onto a swirl textured aluminum back plaque that floats off the wall. Go to the following web address to see the aluminum stack mounting system: This photograph is also available in a variety of sizes and mounting options to fit your space, decor, and budget.
