A motionless pond reflects the aspen grove that launched a flotilla of leaves. "Fall color can be overwhelming and the task we face as photographers is to distill a scene down to the minimum number of elements to fully convey that scene. To paraphrase Reverend Maclean in the film A River Runs Through It, the art of photography is in thrift. Joseph Thomas's photo, Stained Glass, is a beautiful example of an economical image of an autumn scene." - Christopher Robinson, Editor, Outdoor Photographer Magazine. Aluminum stack mounting is an alternative to traditional framing that gives images maximum color, minimum glare, and a clean contemporary look. The print is mounted on a 3/8 inch high density wood and finished with a matte finish vinyl laminate that is heat pressed to the print and finished with a black beveled edge. This is then stacked onto a swirl textured aluminum back plaque that floats off the wall. Go to the following web address to see the aluminum stack mounting system: This photograph is also available in a variety of sizes and mounting options to fit your space and decor.
