" Emotion moves my hand, blends my color. Always searching for the quiet, peace and solitude in a subject. These feelings are important in my work. It reflects a part of who I am.
Where I've been with my art...is the same place I've been going. To push through boundaries and find real change and emotion in my work. To explore the undiscovered within myself - that is the day to day journey. "

Drawing since he was very young, Jeff was lucky enough to have parents that nurtured that creativity. Born in central Minnesota in 1957, he discovered books on art at a very young age. From then on creating art has surrounded his life. Working in several mediums including: oil, pastel, charcoal, oil pastel, pencil and several forms of printing including hand pulled lithographs, woodcuts and linoleum block, he pushes forward, forging his style and painting in layers of color and thought.
