I’m a visual artist living and working in Atlanta, Georgia, where I moved in 2014.  I studied fine art in college and before that completed the Art Instruction Schools illustration course at home. I've lived and worked as an artist in Minnesota (where I am from originally) and in California too, where I lived for five years.

I work mainly in acrylic and watercolor.  My art is driven by ideas, which are usually based on science, nature and environmental themes.  My styles and subjects include abstraction, wildlife, landscapes, and scenes of daily life, usually based on my photos. I also do portraits and figure art in both acrylic and watercolor.

I’m a member of many Georgia art organizations and have exhibited my artwork steadily for the last two decades. I’ve been a part of many juried art fairs and group art shows, and several solo shows also. My art has been chosen for books, book covers, magazine articles and I have illustrated newspaper articles. My professional goal is to increase exposure for my artwork and subject matter, grow and be bolder as an artist, and have my art seen more around the world via online exposure. Though I continue to learn from others as an artist, I stay as true to my instincts and personal style as possible.

I will accept commissions and prefer to work from photos.
